Thank You Mommy!

I just have to say thank you to my Mom, and every mother I know. Being pregnant has made me appreciate my mom more than ever. To know that someone went through this to bring me into the world is a humbling and very enlightening experience. Pregnancy is NOT easy and every woman who has brought a child into the world deserves infinite gratitude.

The aches, pains, stiffness, sickness, mood swings, food cravings, food aversions, exhaustion, lack of mobility, increased weight.... I could go on forever, all the aspects of pregnancy are no cake walk. Knowing my mom did that for me really touches me deep inside. And knowing women who go through this and have other children, work, LIFE responsibilities that I don't even have and managing to do it still, is just humbling.

So basically I just want to say thank you Mommy. I appreciate you. And I am very grateful to have you now, I couldn't do this with out you.

I went swimming!!

Yup sure did. I went swimming today and it was great. I should have gone ages ago. It's much easier to move in the water than it is to walk on the ground. The water takes all the pressure off my spine (whew!). I actually got in a few laps. YAY!

Anyway just wanted to share. I will take pics next time!!

Update!!!

Ok Ok I know I have been lagging in updating the blog *slaps hand* but since you guys keep reminding me here I am with an update:

I am now 22 weeks and feeling much better thank you. I do have a constant back pain but I am just trying to work through it... but it hurts like HELL!! So any and all massages will be appreciated.

I went back to work 3 weeks ago. So far so good. I just go to the bathroom every thirty minutes. The receptionist finds it amusing.

I finally cleaned the house!! whoo hooo!!

Our baby girl loves to wiggle still and is getting stronger everyday.

Guess What??!!!

Well I went to the doctor today AND the ultrasound revealed that we are having a GIRL!!! I am so excited!!! Pretty dresses here we come!!!!!

And what a wiggler she already is. She kicks me constantly now a days. I wake up to kick kick kick... when I eat, I feel kick kick kick.... as I fall asleep, I feel kick kick kick... I watch tv, kick kick kick... she's already a mover and a shaker.

In fact, she's kicking right now...

Ok at this point I'm so sick of that woman, she wishes she "could stay pregnant forever." LIES LIES LIES I SAY!!!! Maybe I just haven't gotten to that stage of pregnancy but right now I do NOT wish to be pregnant forever. To be honest right now I feel down right ugly. That's right I feel ugly. I know I'm not ugly, but I feel it just the same. My skin hasn't been cooperating with me, I've been too tired to do my hair the way I like to, my nails just aren't on point the way I like them, and NOTHING fits me anymore. I can't even wear my favorite shoes. I've worn sweats (yea me in sweats??? imagine that???) so much I feel like I'm being punished. Plus it doesn't help that I've been battling the flu. And then I'm forced to see this beautiful woman on tv much more pregnant than me go on and on about how HAPPY and WONDERFUL it is to be pregnant while I'm sitting here looking like a miserable mess. She's a liar, I SWEAR IT!!

Well I am officially 3 months along so I figured it's time to start posting belly pictures. My stomach might not seem big to you but to me it's HUGE, and I know it has a long way to go.

Don't Push ME!!!

Today we went to the Perinatologist to have an ultrasound. I was sent there by my doctor because all along I've been having some pains. But good news everyone, all is fine. I have two cysts which are the cause of the pain but the doctor said not to worry they should clear themselves up in the next month and the pain should subside, hooray!

Anyway the good part! We got to see the BABY!!! *smile* Oh my goodness he/she is too cute!! But let me tell you the Baby did NOT like the ultrasound. The Baby was jumping and moving around in there HIGHLY AGITATED at being poked and prodded. It was too funny to see he/she in there twisting and turning. At one point he/she just stretched out in frustration, like "STOP IT!!". I swear it was the cutest sweetest thing I have ever seen!
